What Corporate Groups Gain from a Centralised Rollout Strategy

Rollouts in Months, Not Years

SAP Business One is leaner, less complex and significantly faster to implement than large enterprise systems. Our template approach makes it possible to go live with four to eight country subsidiaries in the time a classic ERP rollout takes for a single site. Standardised templates ensure that every subsequent site is completed faster than the previous one – the lessons learned from each project feed directly into the next.

Central Integration, Unified Data Foundation

All subsidiaries are connected to the central group ERP via a standardised interface. KPIs, stock levels and financial data flow consolidated into your reporting – without manual consolidation, without system breaks. You maintain control over global standards and processes while each subsidiary can operate efficiently at the local level. The template defines the standard; the rollout implements it consistently.

Localisation in Over 50 Countries

SAP Business One is available in 50 country localisations and 27 language versions. For countries without their own localisation, we draw on proven alternative localisations and adapt them to local tax and compliance requirements. Versino has carried out rollouts in over 40 countries – from Western Europe through South America to Southeast Asia. Through our network in the SAP Business One Global Partner Executive Council (GPEC), we can quickly access the required local expertise.

Full Accountability After Go-Live

We carry out the rollouts ourselves in the respective countries – and remain the direct point of contact for support and system maintenance afterwards. No handover to local partners who customise the system individually. No drift across the system landscape. Upgrades are tested on a parallel system before being applied to the production system. A 24/7 emergency hotline is available for critical situations – though in practice it is rarely needed.

We use the SAP Business One system as our "speedboat solution". The very first version already covered all the core functions we had defined as requirements in our specification. This allowed us to go live very quickly.

Frequently Asked Questions

What corporate clients should know about international rollouts and working with Versino.

Large enterprise systems are often significantly over-engineered for the needs of an international subsidiary – and the rollout effort is disproportionately high. SAP Business One is leaner, has fewer screens and is therefore faster to learn and implement. In our experience, subsidiaries typically need the core standard functions that SAP Business One provides. At the same time, the system integrates cleanly with the central group ERP – so transparency and control at group level are maintained without sacrificing local flexibility. We regularly hear that a classic SAP ERP rollout takes one year per site. With SAP Business One, four to eight countries can go live in the same time.

Our rollout process follows a proven three-stage approach. In the first stage, we work with you to develop a template: what does a typical subsidiary need? What group integration and third-party system connections are required? The template defines the standard that is used in every subsequent rollout. In the second stage, we review the template on-site in a GAP/FIT workshop at the subsidiary, configure the system with the appropriate localisation and sign it off jointly with the customer. In the third stage, the local SAP partner typically handles key user training before a Versino project manager personally accompanies the go-live. The advantage: every subsequent rollout is faster than the previous one, because the template is already proven.

Every rollout project is led by a Senior Consultant from Versino as project manager. They travel to the customer's site, coordinate all on-site activities and serve as the central point of contact for your group. In the back office, two to three team members support with configuration and data migration. In addition, a consultant from our local SAP Business One partner typically participates in the project to handle the localisation and end-user training. The Versino Group is a member of the SAP Business One Global Partner Executive Council (GPEC), which provides access to an international partner network offering rapid access to local expertise.

After go-live, Versino remains the direct point of contact – not a local partner who gradually customises the system away from the standard. Regular support is provided during standard business hours on German working days. For emergencies, a 24/7 emergency hotline is also available, billed on a time-and-materials basis and rarely needed in practice. System upgrades are prepared and fully tested on a parallel system before being applied to the production system. The entire process typically takes one day, after which the system is immediately ready for use again.

SAP Business One version 10.0 is available in 50 official country localisations and 27 language versions. For countries without their own SAP localisation, we draw on similar localisations and adapt them to the specific local circumstances together with the local tax adviser and SAP partner. Versino has actively carried out rollouts in over 40 countries – including markets in Western Europe, Eastern Europe, North and South America, the Middle East and Southeast Asia. Even if a country does not formally have its own localisation, we can in almost all cases find a workable solution based on SAP experience and proven partnerships.

This is one of the core principles of our rollout philosophy: we carry out the rollouts ourselves and then take on maintenance and support as well – rather than handing over to local partners after implementation. This prevents individual subsidiaries from developing the system in a direction that no longer aligns with the central template. The more subsidiaries deviate from the standard, the more complex later upgrades and group integration become. By Versino retaining system ownership, your system landscape remains uniform, maintainable and scalable – whether you operate three or thirty subsidiaries.
