Send documents directly by email – as PDF with attachments, individually or in bulk. Plus electronic invoices in Peppol format: SAP Business One is getting ready for mandatory e-invoicing requirements.
Process Maps
New visual workflows for Quote-to-Cash and Procure-to-Pay guide users step by step through business processes. Custom process maps can also be created – ideal for onboarding and training.
Manufacturing in the Web Client
Production Orders, material issues, goods receipts, and resource planning are now all available in the Web Client. With batch and serial number support, end-to-end traceability goes mobile.

Financial Accounting

Excel Import with Templates
Journal entries can be imported using a predefined Excel template – field mapping happens automatically. Control accounts for Business Partners are assigned directly during import.
More Convenient Journal Entries
Copy & paste in journal entry rows, debit/credit totals in all currencies, automatic balance calculation via Ctrl+B, and cash flow assignments speed up daily posting work in the Web Client.
Recurring Postings & Exchange Rates
Recurring Postings now display totals and support Withholding Tax. Exchange rates and indices can be transferred between companies via Excel – ideal for group structures.
Improved Chart of Accounts
The Chart of Accounts in the Web Client offers custom views, segmentation filters, and optimized navigation – for faster access to G/L Account information.
Improved "Parked Documents" App
You can assign active cash flow items and amounts to cash flow-relevant accounts and copy and paste rows. Debit/credit totals are displayed in local currency, system currency, and foreign currency in the last row of the "Content" tab.
Improved Journal Entry Templates
Debit %/Credit % totals are displayed in the last row of the "Content" tab. Rows can be copied and pasted. Use Ctrl+B to automatically calculate Debit % or Credit % to balance the entry.
Purchasing & Sales
More seamless document processes, email sending directly from documents, and significantly greater efficiency for bulk processing.
Email Sending Directly from Documents
Sales and purchasing documents can be sent directly by email – as PDF, Word, or Excel, including attachments. Bulk sending via Microsoft 365 is also available.
Document Generation Wizard
Create multiple follow-on documents – orders, deliveries, invoices – in a single run and consolidate base documents. Repetitive opening and copying is eliminated.
E-Invoice (Peppol & eDoc)
Electronic documents in Peppol and Generic eDoc format can be generated directly in the Web Client – an important step toward complying with mandatory e-invoicing requirements.
Price Lists & Blanket Agreements
Price lists flow consistently through the document chain as a persistent field. Blanket Agreements offer renewal reminders and automatic attachment copying to follow-on documents.
Printing in the Web Client
Print sales and purchasing documents directly in the Web Client – with layout selection, Crystal Reports, and batch PDF creation from the list view.
Sales BOM Components Editable
In sales documents, the Product, Gross Profit, and Volume and Weight fields can be edited for component items of a sales BOM when "Price for Components" is enabled.
Confirmation Process for Multiple Drafts
When copying the same base documents into another target document, a confirmation message is displayed showing existing draft numbers. Applies to both purchasing and sales documents.
Include Attachments in Emails
New "Send in Email" checkbox on the "Attachments" tab for quotations, sales orders, A/R Reserve Invoices, deliveries, A/R Invoices, return requests, returns, and A/R Credit Memos. Microsoft 365 integration required.
Direct Sending for Purchasing Documents
The option to "Send multiple emails with PDF attachments directly to document addresses" is now also available for purchasing documents: Purchase Request, A/P Reserve Invoice, Goods Receipt, Goods Return, A/P Invoice, and A/P Credit Memo.
Separate Discount % and Down Payment %
In Credit Memos based on Down Payment Invoices, the discount and down payment percentages can be defined separately. The base discount % is editable in Down Payment Invoices and Down Payment Requests.
Landed Costs
Capture and edit costs and customs duties for imported goods using the new "Create Landed Costs" app. Landed Costs are also available as a document type in data ownership management by Business Partner.
Improvements to Blanket Agreements
Reminder notifications are sent before expiration. Attachments can be copied to follow-on documents. Activities can be managed for each delivery schedule row in the Blanket Agreement detail view.
Recurring Documents & Procurement Wizard
New list view variants for recurring transactions and templates. Row descriptions in step 3 of the Procurement Wizard for sales orders are editable.
Production & MRP
Manufacturing control arrives fully in the Web Client – including batch tracking, resource planning, and end-to-end traceability.
Production Orders in the Web Client
Production Orders can be created, edited, duplicated, and closed – entirely in the Web Client. Material issues, goods receipts, and transfers are initiated directly from the order.
Batches & Serial Numbers
Material issues and goods receipts support batches, serial numbers, and bin locations. End-to-end goods tracking from Production Order to warehouse.
Resources & Route Stages
New apps for machine and labor resources, resource groups, and route stages. Central master data maintenance for production planning.
Procurement Wizard for Sales Orders
Automatically generate Purchase Quotations, Purchase Orders, or Production Orders from sales documents or Production Orders – seamless transition from demand to procurement.
Improvements to Bills of Materials
You can display descriptions of text row types and send the BOM summary by email. Rows can be copied and pasted in create or edit mode.
Update Item Descriptions in Bills of Materials
When changing an item description in Item Master Data, a new checkbox "Save Description Updates in BOM" appears – automatically updating all linked Bills of Materials.
Warehouse Management
This area covers faster data imports, a new availability check, and complete inventory posting functions in the Web Client.
Available-to-Promise (ATP) Check
New Available-to-Promise report: item availability based on stock, open documents, and goods receipts – including alternative warehouses and substitute items.
Excel Import for Master and Inventory Data
Import Item Master Data from a single Excel file with one worksheet. Business Partner data additionally supports import from a file with multiple worksheets or from multiple files each with one worksheet. Batches and serial numbers can also be imported via Excel. Significantly accelerates initial data entry, migration projects, and inventory recording.
Inventory Postings Fully in the Web Client
New apps for Inventory Postings, Opening Balances, and drafts. Create and manage inventory quantities at the beginning of a new fiscal period – fully in the Web Client without the desktop client.
CRM & Service
This area brings more professional customer communication, email activities, and better master data quality.
Email as an Activity Type
Emails can be sent directly to users, employees, contact persons, or distribution lists, connecting CRM and communication in a single step. Distribution lists are manageable in the Web Client.
Master Data Quality
Addresses can be marked as inactive or locked against changes. The Excel import for Business Partners accelerates onboarding. Attachments are included in Outlook meeting requests.
Activity Documentation
The content field for activities is now a dedicated tab with long text support and predefined text blocks – enabling more structured documentation of customer interactions.
Customer Equipment Cards with Inactive Business Partners
When adding multiple Business Partners to a Customer Equipment Card, a confirmation message appears for each inactive non-default partner. Switching to an inactive default partner prevents saving.
Distribution Lists in Configuration
New definition page "Distribution Lists" under Administration > Configuration > CRM > Activities. Create and manage distribution lists for users, employees, contact persons, or manually entered email addresses.
Usability Improvements in Service Apps
User names replace user codes in the "Handled By", "Created By", "Updated By", and "Handler (Planning)" fields. New code fields are available via filter and view settings.
Banking & Payments
Payment runs, check management, and deposits are moving further into the Web Client.
Payment Runs & Check Management
View payment runs, manage checks, and endorse them – directly in the Web Client. Deposits support attachments and display document links at row level for partial voids.
Deposit Configuration
New settings page: split journal entries for checks and credit card documents by Business Partner or account, and block deposit documents whose posting date is before the posting period – for clean period boundaries.
Web Client & Usability
Visual process maps, enhanced attachments with camera upload and subfolders, and an overall smoother experience – the Web Client takes a significant leap forward.
Process Maps
Visual workflows for Quote-to-Cash and Procure-to-Pay. Custom process maps for your own workflows can also be created – perfect for onboarding and training.
Attachments Tab Enhancements
The Attachments tab in the Web Client now supports camera upload on mobile devices, subfolders, and free text. Attachments can optionally be copied to follow-on documents, enabling end-to-end document management.
Multi-Language & Crystal Reports
Multi-language support extended to all relevant pages. Crystal Reports can be run directly in the Web Client – no desktop client needed for standard reports.
Session Timeout Warning for Support Users
Partner support users are notified when their session is about to expire and prompted to save their work.
Blanket Agreements in Cockpit & Linked List Views
Purchase and sales Blanket Agreements are available as data sources for cockpit cards. Links from list and detail views of Blanket Agreements to other views can be created.
Administration & Platform
This area brings finer-grained authorizations, more powerful user-defined fields, and new APIs for developers.
Belize Deep & UX Improvements
Belize Deep is now the default design style for the SAP Business One client. This release introduces a new 4K-optimized skin, "Created By" instead of cryptic codes, enhanced notifications with priority control, and a flexible row limit in lists.
Add Attachments via Drag & Drop
Attachments can now be added via drag and drop in the SAP Business One client.
Authorizations & Configuration
Granular authorizations for states/cantons are now available, a read-only permission for the application launcher, and new configuration options for dunning levels and states directly from master data screens.
User-Defined Fields & Values
UDFs for packaging types and branch links manageable in the Web Client. UDVs can be defined, tested, and imported across virtually all business objects – more customization without code.
APIs & Developer Tools
New APIs for URL generation for Web Client views, extended UI APIs with MultiComboBox, MultiInput, and external service authentication. VS Code Wizard automatically creates grid layouts.
List Views for Simple Definition Pages
Simple definition pages such as Customer Groups now display the number of selected and available records. Total amounts in relevant columns such as "Balance in Local Currency" are displayed for opening balances.
Electronic File Manager (EFM)
New read-only property "Required Minimum Version of SAP Business One" in mapping properties. Resizable condition sections in the "Mapping Settings" and "Validation" tabs.
Validate Attachment Folder
New field "Validate Folder by Uploading a File" in attachment settings. After changing the default folder, verify its accessibility via file upload.
Recipients Window Extended
New "Employees" tab in the "Add Recipients" window enables adding employees as message recipients.
New Web Client Apps: Down Payments, Correction Invoices & Reports
A/P Down Payment Requests and A/P Down Payment Invoices in the Web Client (also for CZ, HU, PL, SK). A/R and A/P Correction Invoices and cancellations (for CZ, HU, PL, PT, RU, SK, UA). New dynamic report group with sales analysis and profit and loss statement.
Lifecycle & User Management
This area covers more efficient user management, Microsoft 365 as a standalone component, and new monitoring tools.
Microsoft 365 Integration
The M365 integration can be installed separately and managed in the SLD Control Center – more flexible deployment, email sending, and calendar integration as a standalone component.
Job Monitor
Real-time monitoring of background jobs with status display, progress bars, and automatic notifications. In this initial release, only the DATEV export job type is supported.
User Management
Multi-select for company assignment, superuser role assignment during binding, a cleaner login company selection with search and filtering – fewer clicks in administration.
Database Backup Extended
The B1AS database is now included in the backup procedure during the upgrade process – in line with SBO-COMMON and SLDdata – for more comprehensive data protection during upgrades.
Country-Specific Features
This area covers localization improvements for e-invoicing, Withholding Tax, electronic documents, and tax reporting in numerous countries.
New Electronic Document Fields
Additional fields for electronic documents are now available in the relevant documents: Movement Type, Vehicle No., and Shipment Timestamp. Greece
Argentina: CAEA for RG2485
CAEA (Advance Authorization Codes) is now supported for the RG2485 regime for electronic documents submitted to AFIP. Argentina
E-Checks in Deposits

Tax ID Validation in Sales and Purchasing Documents

Freight Costs & Tax Management
You can distribute header freight costs to rows in purchasing and sales documents and display the tax amount distribution per row via value help. A new "Total per Tax Category" field is available. Brazil
Withholding Tax in A/R Credit Memos
Withholding Tax is now supported in A/R Credit Memos. Credit memos based on A/R Invoices are not supported. Brazil
Change Log for Tax Code Determination

France: New Fields for Electronic Documents
For e-invoicing and e-reporting requirements: Routing Code and Suffix on the Company Details > Accounting Data tab. "Public Directory Status" and "Sole Tax Subject" in Business Partner Master Data. Suffix also in relevant documents.
Germany: DATEV Export
New apps "DATEV Export" and "Create DATEV Export" in the Accounting group. Search, filter, create, edit, run, and schedule DATEV export runs – export journal entries in DATEV format.
India: ISD Documents
ISD documents (Input Service Distribution) are now available via DI API and Service Layer: ISD, ISD Invoice, ISD Recipient Invoice, ISD Credit Memo, and ISD Recipient Credit Memo. India
Israel: Donation Model in the Web Client
The electronic donation model is now also available in the Web Client.
Mexico: DIOT Report Update
Due to updated legislation, new options are available for the operation type in the DIOT report: 02 – Goods Issue, 07 – Import of Goods or Services, 08 – Import via Virtual Transfer, 87 – Global Operations.
Poland: E-Invoice and KSeF
The KSeF protocol has been updated to API 2.0 and supports two certificates for the processing target form. The mapping format has been updated to FA(3). The "Generate Later" and "Generate Offline" options are available. QR codes are available on Crystal Reports layouts. The JPK_VAT format has been extended with the KSeF number and when importing and exporting transfer files, the size of some fields has been increased to 35 characters.
Multiple Countries: Withholding Tax Improvements
Withholding Tax is now supported in A/R Credit Memos (Panama Switzerland South Africa Turkey Central MENA). The payment type "Withholding Tax" is now supported in incoming and outgoing payments (Chile). For Israel, this includes automatic calculation and a Withholding Tax row in the Journal Entry (Israel). Excel import is available for the Withholding Tax assignment template (France Greece United Kingdom).
Original Invoices in Document References
Original invoices are available as document references for A/R Invoices, A/R Correction Invoices, and A/R Reserve Invoices. Hungary
