SAP Business One 10.0 – Support Package 2511
Support Package 2511 modernizes the technical foundation with PDF export, XML attachments, Single Sign-On, and dedicated Tomcat instances. Discover the improvements.
The Four Key Themes of This Update
PDF Export with XML Attachment
Sales documents can be exported as PDF with an embedded XML attachment — enabling standards-compliant data exchange with Business Partners and preparing for mandatory e-invoicing requirements.
Single Sign-On & Azure
This release introduces SSO via AD FS with Windows Integrated Authentication and Principal Propagation for Azure-based applications. Partner applications access SAP Business One seamlessly.
Architecture Modernization
Dedicated Tomcat instances are available for SLD and Extension Manager, License Service, Job Service, as well as Mobile Service and Service Layer Configuration Manager — each component can be restarted independently for greater stability and easier maintenance.
Crystal Reports 2025
The new version of SAP Crystal Reports for SAP Business One is available — an up-to-date reporting environment for all report requirements.

Sales & Documents
Sales documents become more interoperable: PDF export with a machine-readable XML attachment enables standardized data exchange between ERP systems.
PDF Export with XML Attachment
Sales documents such as A/R Invoices can be exported as PDF with an embedded XML attachment. The XML data enables automatic import at the Business Partner's system and can serve as a basis for Crystal Reports layouts — an important step toward e-invoicing standards.
Security & Authentication
More modern authentication mechanisms and stronger protection: Single Sign-On, Azure integration, and better control over company databases.
Single Sign-On with AD FS
Users with Active Directory Federation Services can now log in to SAP Business One via Windows Integrated Authentication (WIA) without a separate sign-in — fewer passwords, greater convenience.
Principal Propagation for Azure
Azure-based partner applications can seamlessly pass the user context through to SAP Business One. The identity is propagated automatically — secure access to B1 resources without separate authentication.
Protection of Restored Databases
Newly restored company databases no longer appear automatically in the company selection screen. The landscape administrator must explicitly release them in the SLD Control Center — reducing unintended visibility of sensitive data.
Data Privacy: Natural Persons
When creating Business Partners, contact persons, users, and employees, the designation as a "natural person" can now be set directly — via the user interface, DI API, or Service Layer. This simplifies GDPR-compliant data maintenance.
Platform & Extensibility
This area includes a new Crystal Reports version, improved background printing, and extended user-defined fields for payment processes.
Crystal Reports 2025
SAP Crystal Reports 2025, version for SAP Business One, is available and provides an up-to-date reporting environment for all layout and reporting requirements.
Background Printing for Crystal Reports
When printing Crystal Reports layouts in the background, the print process is now automatically managed via a dedicated process — more reliable printing without manual intervention.
UDFs for Check Management
Two new user-defined fields — "Check Management" for incoming checks and "Checks for Payment" for outgoing checks — enable extended customization scenarios in payment processing.
Proxy Authentication for EDS
For electronic document protocols (Peppol and others), proxy authentication can now be configured via the Electronic Document Service — reliable communication even in protected network environments.
Lifecycle & Infrastructure
Fundamental improvements to the server architecture: dedicated Tomcat instances, more flexible high-availability setup, and support for Windows Server 2025.
Dedicated Tomcat Instances
SLD and Extension Manager, License Service, Job Service, as well as Mobile Service and Service Layer Configuration Manager now run in separate Tomcat instances with their own ports (40000, 40002, 40004, 40005). Each component can be restarted or updated independently — minimizing downtime during maintenance.
Improved High Availability
SLD and License Manager are separated as independent components and can be managed independently. The default port for License Manager changes from 40000 to 40002 — firewall and HA configurations should be updated accordingly.
Windows Server 2025
SAP Business One now supports Microsoft Windows Server 2025 — the current server platform is hereby officially certified.
Updated Demo Databases
Localized demo databases for SAP Business One 10.0 FP 2508 with transaction data from 2025 are available for separate download — current and engaging demos for presentations and training sessions.
Localization & E-Invoicing
This area covers country-specific adaptations for e-invoicing and tax requirements in Argentina, Brazil, France, Israel, Mexico, and Spain.
France: E-Invoicing Preparation
New fields are available in Business Partner Master Data: the routing code for correct delivery of electronic invoices, the VAT exemption reason (PEPPOL VATEX), as well as SIREN and SIRET numbers. These form an important foundation for the French mandatory e-invoicing requirement.
Brazil: Tax and Validation Updates
This release introduces alphanumeric CNPJ validation, new tax fields (CST for CBS, CST for IBS, CST for IS) in sales and purchasing documents, CEST code and NVE code in purchasing documents, the reason for non-taxable ICMS, the ECD posting type in pre-posted documents, and extended handling of non-taxable taxes in A/P Reserve Invoices, A/R Reserve Invoices, Goods Receipts, and Deliveries.
Additional Countries
In Israel, decision options for non-approved e-invoices and journal import with allocation numbers are available. In Mexico, the DIOT mapping file has been updated. In Argentina, CAEA for Regime 2904 is supported. In Spain, a new invoice type is available in pre-posted documents.
